Beats President Luke Wood on life with Apple and the pursuit of audio perfection

With founders like legendary music producer Jimmy Iovine and Dr. Dre, audio company Beats Electronics hardly needed help getting noticed. But when Apple acquired the company in mid-2014, the buzz only got louder, with many wondering whether we would see Apple branding replace that distinctive “b.”

According to Beats President Luke Wood, however, the company plans to stay true to its music roots.

In Sydney on Monday to host a Beats Sound Symposium with local artists and industry, Wood sat down with Mashable Australia to discuss Beats’ new life with Apple, what makes Australian artists great, and most importantly, why it pays to know how to turn the stereo system on. Read more…
